Classroom Announcements!!!

Welcome students, parents, and visitors to Mrs. Byrd's  classroom website! I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching reading to students in grades 3 - 6. Visitors please feel free to explore our site and be sure to sign our guestbook at the top of this page. We would love to read your comments. Our website is a great tool for parents to communicate and to get a glimpse of what is happening in the reading classroom. Please peruse through the site.  I have listed our classroom rules on the For Students page, review these rules with your child and help them understand that good citizens follow and abide by the rules that has been set for them.  Major events will be listed on the classroom homepage in the announcement box below.

Please check our classroom website often because this is a wonderful communication tool.

Building with the 6 traits

We are always in need of school supplies. Please email Mrs. Byrd or contact our school to donate school supplies. Parents remember to contact Palm Harbor Academy to receive information about our PTO. We need your input to help us make a difference in our students. The first day of school is August 23, 2010 What should my child wear to school? Please remember that the students will be "dressing for success," which means they will wear our polo shirts with the the Palm Harbor Academy logo on it and navy or kaki slacks for the boys and navy blue or kaki skorts/skirts or slacks for the girls. Polo shirts are on sale for $14.00 and order forms are available at the front office.
