Palm Harbor Academy in Palm Coast, Florida is a K-6 elementary school. The mission of Palm Harbor Academy is to create an environment in which children can develop into exceptional students, committed and equipped to improve their community. The Academy will recognize and nurture all types of human intelligences so that students of all backgrounds can acheive their full educational potential. It will offer an innovative and creative curriculum designed to accelerate student learning in a safe environment. The Academy will be staffed by experienced and certified teachers.
Palm Harbor Academy plans to begin operations according to the FCPS calendar, in August 2009. The instructional day at the school will begin each day at 8:30 AM and end at 3:06 PM. Instruction time each day will be 360 minutes.

FCAT Prep
By using mulitiple methods of instruction ( traditional and innovative approaches) we will enable all students to be prepared for the FCAT. By following the Sunshine State Standards, staff will enable students to understand the critical content areas tested by the FCAT and will have had sufficient practice at test taking to assure comfort level with the test.
