ART CLUB
The Art Club meets one time per week. the members explore various techniques and use an assortment of mediums that they may or may not experience in regular art class. Art Club members are required to complete weekly drawing assignments in their sketchbook. All students are eligible for Art Club.

CHORUS
The Palm Harbor Academy Chorus rehearses three times a week.They perform several times during the year for PHA students and faculty, PTA, Partners in Education, and the surrounding community. All students  are eligible for Chorus.

Students Working to Advance Technology (SWAT TEAM)

The Palm Harbor Academy SWAT Team is a Computer Club designed to give students an opportunity to become more familiar with computers, their care, maintenance, and their many uses. The Computer Club will provide opportunities for interested students to:

Work with computer programs;
Enhance computer skills;

Learn how to care for and maintain computer equipment; and

Provide various kinds of support to the school community.

The Computer Club meets one day per week during fifth grade P.E. time. Computer Club members are expected to be on time and ready to perform the assigned tasks at each meeting.

The Computer Club will take up to 10 members. Members will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students will be notified of which semester session they have been placed.

Students must meet the following criteria for becoming a Computer Club member:

Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn.
Must be a 3rd - fifth grade student.

Must maintain at least a "C" average.

Must maintain at least an "S" in Citizenship.

Must have signed a Computer Club Contract.

Must have parental consent.

Must have Internet/E-mail permission and a signed form must be on file at school.



Safety Ambassadors

The primary aims of the Safety Ambassadors are:
to protect students from accidents while on their way to and from the school building ,and


to foster qualities of leadership and good citizenship in other patrol members.



School Safety Ambassador is an honored position. They perform an invaluable service to fellow students.

Members of the Safety Patrol are fifth grade students who are selected for their courtesy, dependability, and scholastic standing.

The Student Government Association (S.G.A.) at Palm Harbor Academy is very active. Student representatives meet twice a month to plan activities to improve school spirit, and to encourage community service. The SGA sponsors skating & bowling parties once each nine weeks to allow students to get together outside of school. The SGA also sponsors school spirit days and holiday contests. School supply drives and canned food drives are also sponsored by the SGA (Next year's goals).
